Women caught ‘dating’

KUWAIT CITY, April 15: An unidentified Kuwaiti woman has been kept in police custody for faking an assault by a police officer, reports Al-Rai daily.
A security source said this happened when the police officer suspected two women ‘dating’ near their building. When the officer asked them for their identification papers, one of them refused, insulted the officer and fell on the ground, and started crying in pain.
She accused the officer of assaulting her, but an eyewitness testified in favor of the officer at a police station.
