KUWAIT CITY, March 28: The Directorate-General of Fire Department (DGFD) said a Kuwaiti woman who inhaled smoke and suffered burns when a Kuwaiti house in Bayan caught fire is in critical condition, reports Al- Seyassah daily.
In a press statement, the DGFD said the fire broke out on the ground floor of a three-storey house trapping six people inside. Acting on information firemen rushed to the site of the fire and immediately started work to rescue the people trapped inside the house, including a woman. Emergency medical technicians confirmed her condition is critical. The firemen are investigating the cause of the fire. On the other hand, the firefighting teams put out two fires that broke out in a house in the Khaitan and an apartment in Hawalli, but no casualties have been reported from these two fires.
