KUWAIT CITY, Oct 9: Zain Kuwait announced the successful conclusion of the Zain Edition padel league, part of The Padel League series, following ten days of high-energy competition that featured strong participation from more than 250 players from Kuwait and across the GCC.

The closing ceremony honored the champions and runners-up in the Under-16s, Women’s, and Men’s categories at El Padel courts at The Regency Hotel. The event was attended by Waleed Al-Khashti, Chief Corporate Affairs and Relations Officer, and Abdulrahman Al-Musbahi, Director General of Tour Events, the tournament organizer.

The championship drew more than 250 male and female players from Kuwait and the GCC, with matches held across three main categories: Under-16s, Men’s, and Women’s. The event delivered a professional organizational experience that elevated participation, competition levels, and sportsmanship, reinforcing padel’s status as one of the fastest-growing sports in Kuwait and the region.

Zain affirmed that its support for this championship aligns with its continuous efforts to empower athletes and back emerging sports. The company aims to provide competitive platforms that help develop local talent and open doors for regional and international participation.

This championship served as the first stop in The Padel League series, which offers a comprehensive tournament calendar that sustains competition and raises technical standards throughout the season.
