White house condemns attack on Iranian Shi’ite pilgrims in Iraq

WASHINGTON, Nov 24 (Reuters) – The White House on Thursday condemned an attack in Hilla, Iraq, that killed about 100 people, most of them Iranian Shi’ite pilgrims, saying the bombing “was clearly intended to stoke sectarian tensions.”
