KUWAIT CITY, Jan 29: The Meteorological Department announced that the country will experience moderate daytime weather conditions and cool to cold nighttime conditions throughout the weekend. Acting Director of the department Dhirar Al-Ali told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the country is currently under the influence of an extension of a surface high-pressure system. This system is accompanied by a moderate, humid air mass and light to moderate northwesterly winds, which are expected to cause light fog in some areas during the evening, in addition to scattered clouds. Al-Ali affirmed the moderate weather on Thursday with light to moderate northwesterly winds blowing at speeds between six and 28 kilometers per hour.
Scattered clouds are anticipated, along with a possibility of light fog in the evening. Maximum temperatures could range from 20 to 22 degrees Celsius, while sea conditions are slight to moderate, with wave heights between one and three feet. He disclosed that the weather on Thursday night is cool to cold, with northwesterly to variable winds that are light to moderate in strength, ranging from six to 24 kilometers per hour. Certain areas may experience light fog, accompanied by scattered clouds. Minimum temperatures could fall between eight and 10 degrees Celsius, while sea conditions are slight, with waves between one and two feet. He added that Friday will be mild and partly cloudy, with light to moderate northwesterly to variable winds at speeds of six to 26 kilometers per hour. There is a chance of light fog in the evening, and maximum temperatures are expected to range between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius. The sea will remain slight to moderate, with waves measuring between one and three feet.
He stated that Friday night’s weather will be cool to cold, with light to moderate southeasterly winds ranging from six to 24 kilometers per hour. Light fog may form in some areas, and scattered clouds are expected. Minimum temperatures will range from 9 to 11 degrees Celsius, and sea conditions will be calm, with wave heights between 1 and 2 feet. Regarding Saturday’s forecast, Al- Ali revealed the weather will be mild, with light to moderate southeasterly winds blowing at speeds between eight and 32 kilometers per hour. There is a possibility of fog forming in the evening, along with scattered clouds.
