KUWAIT CITY, June 18: The Meteorological Department forecasts that the country will be affected by hot and relatively humid weather during the day, especially over coastal areas, and warm and relatively humid conditions at night over the weekend. Acting Director of the department, Abdulaziz Al Qarawi, explained to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that weather maps and numerical models indicate that the country is affected by the extension of a surface low-pressure system accompanied by a hot and relatively humid air mass, with southeast to variable light to moderate winds. Friday’s daytime weather will be hot and relatively humid, especially over coastal areas, with southeast to variable light to moderate winds ranging from 8 to 32 km/h, and expected maximum temperatures between 43 and 45°C.
Sea conditions will be light to moderate, with waves of one to four feet. Friday night will be warm and relatively humid, especially over coastal areas, with southeast to variable light to moderate winds ranging from 6 to 28 km/h, while minimum temperatures will range between 24 and 26°C, and sea conditions will be light to moderate, with waves of one to three feet. Saturday daytime weather will be hot and relatively humid over coastal areas, with variable to southeasterly light to moderate winds ranging from 6 to 26 km/h. Maximum temperatures will range between 43 and 45°C, and sea conditions will be light to moderate with waves of one to three feet. Saturday night will be warm, with variable to northwesterly light to moderate winds ranging from 6 to 26 km/h, while minimum temperatures will be between 30 and 32°C, and sea conditions will remain light to moderate, with waves of one to three feet.
