Weather to be hot to moderate during weekend

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 2, (KUNA): The hot to moderate weather conditions in Kuwait will continue this weekend, said Kuwait Meteorological Department official Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi Thursday. Al-Qarawi told KUNA the current weather conditions was due to fluctuating wind pressure before the advent of the fall season.

The weather this evening was relatively humid especially over coastal areas with light to moderate southeastern wind to light southern wind, at the speed of 15-38 kilometers per hour (km/h). Temperatures reached between 18 to 20 degrees Celsius with the state of the sea with waves reaching 2 to five feet.

As for Friday’s weather, Al-Qarawi said during the day, it will be relatively hot and humid with light to moderate southeastern to southern winds at speed of 15-40 km/h, adding that there will be a chance for rising dust over western areas and some scattered clouds will appear.

Highest temperatures will reach 34 to 36 degrees Celsius, as the state of the sea will witness waves of two to six feet. He indicated that Friday evening will have clouds increasing and humid weather will prevail with light to moderate southeasterly winds at speed of 15 – 38 km/.

Temperatures will reach between 19 to 21 degrees Celsius while the state of the sea will have waves reaching three to six feet. As for Saturday, during the day it will be partially cloudy with southern to southeasterly winds prevailing at the speed of 15 to 38 km/h.

High temperatures will be at 34 to 36 degrees Celsius while the state of the sea will witness waves of three to five feet. Saturday evening will be also partially cloudy with southeastern light to moderate winds between 15 to 38 km/h while temperatures will drop to 20 to 22 degrees Celsius. State of the sea will have waves at three to five feet.
