Weapons, drugs found on young men, women

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 21: The Hawalli police have seized weapons and drugs from young men and women, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources the suspects were seen riding in two vehicles in one of the areas of Hawalli and they were forced to stop when the police felt something unusual about them.

Before checking the IDs of suspects police patrol requested for help and when help arrived they found in one of the vehicles four loaded Kalashnikov rifles and magazines and a loaded pistol in addition to cannabis and psychotropic drugs.

The arrested people are believed to be Kuwaitis – two young men, one of them a police officer and two young women. They have been referred to the General Department of Drugs Control.
