KUWAIT CITY, Mar 16: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry carried out inspection campaigns at water tanker parking areas in Salmiya, Jabriya, and the Al-Rai area, resulting in nine violation reports and the initiation of legal proceedings against offenders. The ministry said the inspections revealed tanker owners imposing unjustified or artificial price hikes and failing to comply with regulated pricing, violating consumer rights. Authorities affirmed their ongoing commitment to monitoring the market, ensuring the availability of goods and services, and protecting consumer interests.
