Water Tank Collapses in Jeddah, Sending Water Gushing Out

JEDDAH, Oct 20: Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense responded to the accidental collapse of a temporary water tank belonging to a private company in Jeddah Governorate, the Ministry of Interior said Tuesday.

The collapse caused water to gush out after the tank struck the ground, according to the Civil Defense statement.

Authorities said the necessary procedures were being completed following the incident.

The statement, issued on October 20, did not specify the cause of the collapse or report any casualties or injuries.
