Water Supply May Drop in Hawally and Salmiya After Pipeline Break

KUWAIT CITY, March 13:  The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced a break in one of the main freshwater pipelines in the Maidan Hawally area, which may lead to a temporary reduction in water supply in nearby districts.

In a statement, the ministry said specialized maintenance teams have begun taking the necessary measures to repair the damaged line. During the repair period, residents in Maidan Hawally and Salmiya may experience a temporary decrease in freshwater supply.

The ministry thanked customers for their cooperation and understanding while repair work is underway, adding that efforts are being made to restore normal supply as quickly as possible.
