WASHINGTON, July 29: Residents of Washington DC will once again be required to wear protective masks indoors from Saturday after orders by the US capital’s mayor citing a high COVID-19 transmission rate. The new requirement, which Mayor Muriel Bowser announced Thursday, will apply to vaccinated and unvaccinated people alike over the age of two. The measures, which were halted for vaccinated people in May, have been only applied thus far on public transport, along with schools and government buildings. (KUNA)
