KUWAIT CITY,Nov 6,:The President of the Basketball Federation, Dhari Burgess, alongside the Federation's Secretary, Thamer Al-Shanfa, and Muhammad Al-Hassawi, a member of the Federation's Board of Directors, extended a warm reception to the national 3x3 basketball team at Kuwait Airport. This gathering followed the team's commendable performance in the recent tournament held in Doha, where they secured both silver and bronze medals.

Dhari Burgess, President of the Federation, commended the remarkable accomplishments of the national team players in the 3x3 Gulf Championship, which concluded its activities in the Qatari capital, Doha. He emphasized that the silver and bronze medals were well-deserved acknowledgments of their outstanding efforts.

During the welcoming event at Kuwait Airport, Burgess remarked that the performance of our team showcased the continuous growth of Kuwaiti basketball, whether through the participation of Kuwaiti clubs or the involvement of our national teams. He further noted that our team's victory over the Qatari team, who had previously clinched the silver medal in the Asian Games held in China, was a significant achievement.
