Warm days and cool nights expected in Kuwait this weekend
The Meteorological Department forecasts warm days and cooler nights across Kuwait over the coming weekend.

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: Kuwait will see warm to mild days and cool to cold nights over the coming weekend, according to the Meteorological Department’s latest forecast.

Acting Director of the Department Dharar Al-Ali told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Thursday that the country is currently influenced by an extension of a northwestern high-pressure system, bringing a relatively moderate air mass with light to moderate northwesterly to variable winds.

Al-Ali said Thursday’s weather will be warm, with winds shifting from variable to northwesterly at speeds between 8 and 26 km/h. Scattered clouds are expected later in the day, with maximum temperatures ranging between 28°C and 30°C. Sea conditions will be calm, with waves between 1 and 2 feet.

Tonight, he said, temperatures will drop significantly, with cool to cold conditions and light to moderate northwesterly winds ranging from 6 to 28 km/h. Scattered clouds are expected, and the minimum temperature will fall between 10°C and 12°C. The sea will be slight to moderate, with waves between 1 and 3 feet.

On Friday, the weather will remain mild, accompanied by light to moderate northwesterly to variable winds of 6 to 28 km/h. The expected high will be between 27°C and 29°C, while the sea will be slight to moderate at 1 to 3 feet.

Friday night will again be cool to cold, with scattered clouds and winds ranging from 6 to 28 km/h. The minimum temperature is forecast between 9°C and 11°C, and sea conditions will remain slight to moderate.

Al-Ali added that Saturday will see mild daytime weather with light to moderate northwesterly to variable winds of 6 to 28 km/h and scattered clouds. The maximum temperature is expected to range between 26°C and 28°C, with sea waves between 1 and 3 feet.

Saturday night will turn cool to cold and partly cloudy, with light variable winds of 6 to 22 km/h. The minimum temperature will range between 9°C and 11°C, and sea waves will drop to between 1 and 2 feet.
