Warehouse in Shuwaikh Shut, 1,170 Reconditioned Tires Seized

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 23: The Capital Supervision Inspection Team has carried out an inspection campaign targeting several garages in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area, leading to the discovery of a warehouse involved in illegal tire practices.

According to officials, the team seized a facility that was storing large quantities of used tires, refurbishing them, and offering them for sale to consumers. Authorities immediately ordered the closure of the warehouse after confirming the violations.

A total of 1,170 used tires were confiscated during the operation, and legal action has been initiated against those responsible.

The inspection forms part of ongoing efforts to monitor commercial activities, protect consumer safety, and ensure compliance with regulations across industrial areas.
