Kuwait City, 23 Sept: Warba Bank launched a package of three new services for employees, which include flexible working hours starting at 8:30 am to allow employees to take their children to schools, and adding a special permission period that allows employees to attend school activities for their children, in addition to flexible working hours for parents who have children in kindergarten for the first two weeks of work, to allow them to be with their children on the first day of the school year.

These new services came after the bank launched a questionnaire for employees to survey their needs and requirements. This coincides with the back to school and is an extension of Warba Bank’s slogan, “We are distinguished by solutions,” to go beyond digital and innovative banking solutions to provide comprehensive solutions to employees in the belief that what distinguishes the bank are its employees.

On this occasion, the Chief Human Resources and General Services Officer at Warba Bank, Maali Abdullah Al-Rasheed, said: “We are distinguished by our employees, who are partners in success and towards excellence in finding solutions, as our vision extended to pay attention to the personal aspects of the employee’s life, starting with the Care program and more recently with the solutions provided to employees coinciding with back to school, out of our aim to create a balance between personal life and work, and this approach comes to enhance the benefits package offered by Warba Bank to its employees, emphasizing that the Bank’s management is keen to provide all employees’ requirements to improve their productivity and develop their performance.

Al-Rasheed explained that the Bank conducted a questionnaire in this regard, like other questionnaires that are launched to employees to get their opinions as they are part of decision-making in a way that serves the interests of the Bank and its employees. It is also part of the Bank’s interest in making the work environment productive and attractive to talents, especially the citizens.

She stated that the employee satisfaction index this year witnessed a remarkable improve with an increase of more than 40% compared to the previous year, which reflects the Bank’s efforts in creating a productive work environment, which is reflected in the Bank’s performance and its financial position in the banking sector.

Warba Bank is one of the banks that has achieved great successes in a short period, as it occupied a leading position in the field of Islamic digital banking services for individuals, and it is one of the largest local banks in the number of shareholders, and these are among the most prominent components that make the Bank close to all members of society. In addition, Warba Bank is considered among the 50 largest banks in the Middle East in terms of market value for the year 2023 - Forbes Middle East classification.
