Wanted woman caught offering sex via Net ; Police arrest two citizens with drugs in different raids

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13: Ahmadi security officers arrested a citizen in Mahboula for the possession of narcotics. While patrolling the area, the officers noticed the erratic movement of the citizen’s vehicle so they signaled for him to pull over for inspection.

However, the suspect fled from the scene on foot and the officers chased him, resulting in his arrest. When the officers inspected him, they found an undisclosed quantity of narcotics in his possession. Acase was registered and the suspect was referred to the Drug Control General Department (DCGD) for legal measures. Meanwhile, another citizen was arrested in Fahaheel for the possession of drugs including a cigarette that contains hashish. The arresting officers revealed they inspected the suspect’s car, which was parked in front of a school, leading to the discovery of some hashish, a white weapon and cash.

On the other hand, two Asians were arrested for the possession of some bottles of local liquor while they were on their way to a party in Mahboula. Security officials confirmed they will continue tracking down criminals through surprise inspections campaigns in line with the instruction of Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Abdul Fattah Al-Ali and Assistant Director Ahmadi Security Directorate Brigadier Abdullah Safah.

Woman offering sex: Police have arrested an unidentified young woman who had been sentenced in absentia in a drug case for indulging in immoral activity, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources the arrest came after the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received information that she was offering flesh service via the social networking services. Police then set a trap for her, sent a mole and caught her in the act.

Young thief: The plainclothes policemen affiliated to the Farwaniya Governorate have arrested an unidentified 22-year-old Kuwaiti for committing several thefts and handed him over to the concerned authority, reports Al- Rai daily. According to a security source, the arrest came after an Egyptian filed a complaint with the Ardhiya Police Station accusing a young man of robbing him. He said the suspect challenged him, got behind the wheel and escaped with his vehicle containing KD 1,200 and prepaid telephone cards. The security sources said the Farwaniya police suspected the young man and put him under surveillance and began monitoring his movements. After he was arrested on suspicion police found in his possession 735 stolen prepaid telephone cards and a kind of device which he used in committing theft. During interrogation he is said to have admitted to committing a series of thefts.
