Wanted Persons Face Immediate Arrest as Kuwait Activates New Digital System

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 25: The Ministry of Interior announced that, following the issuance of Decree Law No. (58) of 2025 amending the Bankruptcy Law, arrest warrants, and debtor detention orders have now been activated and electronically linked to the “Rashed” Monitoring application. This integration allows security teams to enforce warrants immediately and efficiently.

The Ministry stated that arrests will be carried out on public roads, at security checkpoints, and across all air, land, and sea ports to ensure the swift apprehension of wanted individuals and prevent attempts to evade legal procedures.

Authorities also confirmed that individuals with outstanding warrants may settle their dues or fulfill financial obligations directly at the airport or through the “Sahel” application under the Ministry of Justice’s electronic payment services, enabling them to regularize their status smoothly.

The Ministry urged all individuals with pending warrants or financial liabilities to take prompt action to resolve their cases before enforcement procedures are carried out in the field through the “Haq Al Rashed” App
