KUWAIT CITY, Nov 18: A drug addict who had been sentenced in absentia to 15 years in prison on the background of criminal cases has been arrested by the Ahmadi security patrolmen during a chase that began on the Fahaheel Road and ended in the Al-Dhahr area.
The Al-Seyassah daily said the suspect lost control of his vehicle hit the pavement and crashed into the base of a billboard in a vain attempt to escape the law. After the authorities checked the documents of the suspect they discovered the man was wanted by law for drug-related offenses. At the time of arrest, he was in an abnormal condition. Police also found drugs in his car. He has been handed over to the appropriate authorities.
