Wanted: Man in His Thirties Arrested for Bank Card Fraud in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 29: Kabd detectives have arrested a man in his late thirties who was wanted by law in connection with five cases of bank card fraud, reports Al-Anba daily. According to a security source, the suspect requested to borrow a bank card from his friend to refuel his car and failed to return the card.

He later discovered that the man had made multiple purchases worth less than 25 dinars each time from local online shopping platforms. The victim then gave police the details of the suspect and the vehicle which turned out to be a rented car. Security men then moved to the vehicle’s location and arrested the suspect. During questioning, the accused confessed to carrying out five similar crimes by enticing other young men.
