KUWAIT CITY, June 3: Within a few hours after a young man posted a video showing air defenses engaging several missiles, the Ministry of Interior officers arrested him and referred him to the concerned authorities. In a press statement, the ministry confirmed that the competent authorities apprehended the user of a social media account as he filmed and posted videos showing air defenses engaging several missiles -- a violation that could harm public interest, national security, and safety. The ministry disclosed that the young man used his mobile phone to film while driving, which caused a traffic accident, a violation of relevant laws and regulations.

It emphasized that publishing or circulating images or videos related to military or security sites, or field response and readiness procedures, is an irresponsible behavior that could harm public interest, warning that it will not hesitate to take legal action against violators. It reiterated its call for citizens and residents to abide by the regulations and instructions issued by the authorities, stressing that the law will be strictly enforced on anyone proven to have violated or disregarded the instructions, especially in light of the exceptional circumstances in the country and the region.
