KUWAIT CITY, Oct 25: Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi has issued Ministerial Decree No. 351/2026, establishing fees for services provided by the Medical Liability Authority, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The services cover various administrative and technical procedures, including requests to form committees to review objections to reports issued by the authority’s technical committees.

According to the decree, which was published in the official gazette “Kuwait Alyoum”, a fee of KD 20 will be charged for each administrative service request related to healthcare professionals and health facilities, as well as for administrative services provided by the Department of Health Licensing. A fee of KD 20 will also apply to requests for additional copies of technical committee reports. The decree further stipulates a fee of KD 200 for each request to form an objection committee to review reports issued by the Medical Liability Authority’s technical committees. Those filing objections must pay the prescribed fees within 30 days of being notified that their objection has been accepted. Failure to pay within this period will render the objection request null and void. The decree directs the relevant authorities to implement its provisions, which will take effect on November 1, 2026. It also repeals any previous decisions or provisions that conflict with its terms.
