Visit Visa Holders in Bahrain Granted 1 Month Fine Exemption, 3 Month Extension for Overseas Visitors

MANAMA, Mar 12: Bahrain has announced that people whose visit visas have expired as of February 28, 2026, will be exempt from fines resulting from the delay in leaving the country, for an additional month after the reopening of the airspace.

This exemption is for holders of visit visas of all types who are present in Bahrain now, the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs at the Ministry of Interior announced.

Visit visas that were valid until February 28, 2026 will be extended for an additional three months for visitors who are outside Bahrain, who had applied for visa before this date and were unable to use it due to the exceptional circumstances.
