JAIPUR, Jun 15: A protest led by Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke turned chaotic on Monday after he was allegedly slapped by an unidentified man during a public gathering in Jaipur, triggering a brief scuffle, according to police and videos circulating on social media.

The incident reportedly occurred while supporters were carrying Dipke on their shoulders during the demonstration. Footage widely shared online appears to show an individual approaching him before striking him in the middle of the crowd.

Following the alleged assault, tensions escalated at the protest site as members of the gathering reportedly confronted and attacked the accused man, leading to a physical altercation that quickly spread through the crowd.

In several videos, Dipke can be seen attempting to calm the situation and urging participants not to assault the individual involved. However, the situation continued to deteriorate momentarily as emotions ran high.

Police said the incident was brought to their attention, but no formal statement or details regarding any arrests have yet been released.

Authorities are expected to review video evidence circulating on social media as part of their preliminary assessment of the incident.
