KUWAIT CITY, Nov 19, (Agencies): The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, A. Ahmed Al-Wahida, clarified that a video circulating on social media depicting a teacher assaulting students in a classroom is an old recording from previous years. Al-Wahida emphasized that both verbal and physical assault are strictly prohibited in Ministry of Education schools. There exist explicit legal provisions and regulations that prohibit the use of corporal punishment, and the Ministry strongly condemns such uneducational behavior.
Highlighting the Ministry's commitment to addressing such incidents, Al-Wahida underscored the importance of thoroughly investigating such circumstances and taking necessary actions within the framework of applicable laws and regulations.
