KUWAIT CITY, Nov 20: Faisal Al-Ansari, Director of the Commercial Control Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, announced that inspection teams have continued their intensive monitoring campaigns across markets and car maintenance workshops, uncovering 10 violations that infringe on consumer rights and breach commercial regulations.

Al-Ansari explained that the violations included the improper disposal of used tires, non-compliance with vehicle window tinting regulations, and the failure of some suppliers to provide product information in Arabic on goods, packaging, and display areas.

He added that additional breaches were observed concerning sports car exhaust systems and the absence of clearly displayed warranty schedules for new, refurbished, and used spare parts.

The inspections also revealed illegal use of images of His Highness the Amir, the national emblem, and the Kuwaiti flag, as well as unauthorized repair of vehicles damaged in traffic accidents without the required written approval from the Ministry of Interior.

Al-Ansari emphasized that the ministry continues to conduct daily inspections to ensure all commercial establishments, workshops, and exhibitions comply with regulations. He reiterated that violations affecting consumer safety or the quality of goods and services will not be tolerated and urged the public to report any breaches through official complaint channels.
