BASRA, Oct 26: A vessel was reported on fire approximately 63 nautical miles southeast of Al-Faw, Iraq, on Monday, according to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).

In Warning No. 183-26, UKMTO said it had received multiple third-party reports of the incident. The exact time of the incident has yet to be confirmed.

The status of the vessel’s crew, the extent of the damage and any potential environmental impact remain unknown, UKMTO said.
