KUWAIT CITY, Feb 20: The Ministry of Education (MoE) has started verifying the academic certificates of its employees — citizens and expatriates, reports Al-Anba daily. Acting Assistant Undersecretary for the Administrative Sector Faisal Al-Jutaili sent an official letter to his Public Education counterpart, stating: “Concerning the letter of the director of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) dated Nov 28, 2023; which cited the letter of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet and National Assembly Affairs regarding the final report of the committee tasked to evaluate the work of the Ministry of Higher Education and CSC about the equivalency of above high school certificates, and their request to submit the data of all Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti employees who hold such certificates and those who obtained their academic qualifications from Jan 1, 2000 till date.
