KUWAIT CITY, June 3: The Appeals Court has amended the verdict of the lower court and released the Russian suspect in the ports embezzlement case Marsha Lazareva on KD 1 million bail, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The court has also released Saeed Dashti, another suspect in the case on KD 10 million bail, but has slapped a travel ban against them and others involved in the case.
The lower court had earlier ordered the release of the two suspects on KD 20 million each bail and banning them from travel. The court will hear the testimony of the Public Prosecution during the June 9, 2019 session.
