CARACAS, Nov 16, (AP): The president of Venezuela took part in an event with his supporters on Saturday, where he recalled British musician John Lennon and even went on to sing part of one of his iconic songs, “Imagine.”
Maduro’s public appearance and his comments about seeking peace come as tensions with the US rise amid the presence of warships in the Caribbean near Venezuela’s coast, which the Trump administration says are aimed at fighting drug trafficking.
