Vehicle Renewal Service via Sahel App Restored After System Upgrade

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 15: The Ministry of Interior has announced the reactivation of the vehicle ownership renewal service through the “Sahel” application, following the completion of development and modernization work in the systems of the Insurance Regulation Unit.

The Ministry said the upgraded system is aimed at improving digital services and enhancing the efficiency of procedures related to vehicle ownership transactions, allowing users to complete renewals more smoothly through the government’s unified digital platform.

It added that the service restoration comes as part of ongoing efforts to modernize electronic government services and reduce in-person procedures, making transactions faster and more accessible for citizens and residents.

The Ministry encouraged users to utilize the Sahel application for vehicle ownership renewal and other related services, highlighting that the improvements are designed to ensure greater accuracy, reliability, and ease of use in line with Kuwait’s digital transformation strategy.
