Vehicle inspection fees implemented

KUWAIT CITY, May 24: From Tuesday, the Technical Inspection Department of the General Traffic Department will start charging fees for the technical inspection of all private vehicles. The fees will be KD 2 for the inspection of small vehicles, and from KD 10 to KD 30 for trucks and motorcycles, export vehicles, and for external technical inspections of vehicles, trucks and trailers. In this context, the General Traffic Department has issued a decision to allow only the concerned employees to extract revenue stamps from the stamp dispensers, in addition to ensuring there are sufficient stamps in the stamp dispensers before conducting the transaction.
