KUWAIT CITY, July 6: The value of contracts for ongoing road projects, which the Public Authority for Roads and Transportation (PART) is currently implementing, reached KD1.5 billion — a total of 19 projects, reports Al-Jarida quoting sources from the authority. Sources said the authority’s plan consists of many projects, through which it aims to raise the level and efficiency of the country’s road network in line with State’s future plans; particularly those related to gigantic development projects like the new Kuwait International Airport terminal project (T2).

Sources confirmed the ongoing and future projects are expected to serve as a qualitative leap in the development of the road network as well as linking all areas, stressing the authority is keen on completing these projects as scheduled in coordination with the concerned State agencies.
