Kuwait City, May 14: In a move to strengthen economic ties and promote Uzbek exports to Kuwait, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan H.E. Dr. Ayubkham Yunusov held a business meeting with the Director of LuLu Hypermarket Kuwait, Mohamed Haris, on 13 May, at the LuLu Kuwait regional office.

The discussions centered on exploring the potential for importing a variety of Uzbek products into the Kuwaiti market, with a particular emphasis on fresh fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, and other high-quality produce. This initiative aims to diversify LuLu Hypermarket's offerings and provide Kuwaiti consumers with access to new and exciting products from Uzbekistan.

The Uzbek delegation accompanying the ambassador and participating in the business meeting included First Deputy Minister, Xolmuroddov Nozimjon Qosimovich, Head of Department for Middle East and Africa, Nizomitdinov Jaxongir Muhitdin, Chief Specialist, Karimjanov Sardor Ulugbek,, Deputy Head of Department, Nazarov Munis Ibrokhim, and First Secretary Bahrom Turdialiev,

The discussions revealed a strong mutual interest in collaboration with LuLu Hypermarket expressing their keen interest in importing Uzbek products, recognizing the potential to enhance their product selection and cater to the evolving needs of their customers.

The business meeting signifies a positive step towards fostering stronger economic ties between Uzbekistan and Kuwait. By facilitating the import of high-quality Uzbek products, the collaboration with LuLu Hypermarket has the potential to benefit both nations —  offering Kuwaiti consumers new choices and promoting Uzbek exports in the region.
