LAS VEGAS, Dec 4, (Agencies): Usher found himself “Caught Up” in a poignant moment as he marked a significant career milestone during his final performance at the My Way Las Vegas residency. The 45-year-old, who is set to headline the Super Bowl halftime show in the future, gave an emotional farewell on Saturday.

During the rendition of his track “Without You,” Usher, surrounded by his on-stage crew of dancers and collaborators, dropped to his knees, covering his face with his hands. The Dolby Live — Park MGM crowd witnessed a touching scene as Usher, visibly emotional, turned away briefly, seeking solace among his team.

A fan-recorded video captured the heartfelt moment, showing Usher wiping away tears and sharing the celebration with his crew. As the emotions subsided, Usher turned back to the audience, initiating an a cappella chant of the song, stomping his feet in a triumphant rhythm.

Sharing the joyous occasion on X (formerly Twitter), Usher retweeted a clip from 2004 where he discussed the possibility of a Vegas residency with Trevor Nelson. The singer reflected on how, even during the height of his Confessions era, he never dismissed the idea, indicating a foresight that has now culminated in this remarkable achievement.

In addition to his successful Las Vegas residency, Usher’s recent weeks have been filled with triumphs, including a collaboration with Jungkook of BTS for a remix of his single “Standing Next to You.” These accomplishments mark a period of celebration and reflection for the seasoned artist.
