User Id and passwords issued for companies to renew online residence

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 26: The Ministry of Interiors residency affairs department received a large crowd of company owners and representatives to register and obtain user id and password for online renewal of residence of company staff. Social distancing was maintained among the visitors in order to prevent chaos and to implement guidelines set by Ministry of health.

A security source at the residence affairs stated that approximately 320 requests were received from the owners of the companies. After the employer obtained the code for his company and registering it on the site, he was allowed to renew the residence of the registered employees of the company.

The Department of Residence Affairs has dedicated one of the halls in the building in Al-Dajeej area for application of health requirements which witnessed large crowd on the first day to receive the company owners or representatives.

The source stressed that the hall designated for reception is equipped according to the requirements of the instructions, precautions and preventive measures issued by the Ministry of Health to prevent spread of coronavirus.

Sources stated that visitor who visit will need to adhere to the regulations and laws noting that the online reservation service will eliminate visits made by the representatives or company owners.

200 appointments are scheduled each day in order to reduce chaos and work flow is carried with ease. The Ministry of Interior provided online reservations to facilitate the employers for renewing and extending employment residencies.
