Use seat belts, kids less than 10 must sit behind

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 19: Major Musaed Al-Aslawi, Head of the Traffic Awareness Department, emphasized the importance of following traffic safety measures to protect children, stressing that all vehicle passengers must wear seatbelts, Al-Jarida daily reports. Speaking to Kuwait Radio, Major Al-Aslawi said children under 10 must sit in the back seat in age-appropriate safety seats and must not be allowed to exit the vehicle from the traffic side. He stressed that children should not be allowed to cross the road near schools unless accompanied by an adult.
