KUWAIT CITY, May 18: The Special Education Administration has issued a decision to cancel the permit of an unidentified American teacher who works in a private school for sympathizing with the Zionist entity on her social media account. This incident aroused the ire of parents and the Special Education Administration for bypassing the regulations and violating the decisions related to distancing the educational affairs from any unrelated opinions that has nothing to do with education.

The educational sources said the Special Education Department has initiated investigation procedures and sent a letter to the school administration to investigate the teacher and submit a report on the incident, especially since there are regulations and decisions that prevent educational institutions from getting involved in politics. The Kuwaiti position against normalization of ties with the Zionists and support for the Palestinian cause is crystal clear, explaining that the foreign school in which the teacher works has taken the initiative to terminate the teacher’s services directly and notified the special education to do so.
