US satisfied on security for Kuwait Airport Terminal – 4

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 13: An official source at the Directorate- General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said the US security team currently visiting the country is satisfied with the security conditions and other requirements put in place by the Kuwaiti security authorities at T4 of the Kuwait International Airport after inspecting the facilities of the building, reports Al-Anba daily.

The US team acknowledged compliance with all conditions, including the provision of security gates and tightening of inspection of passengers and staff working at the facility, in addition to the installation of the surveillance cameras at the T4 which monitors the movement of every passenger boarding the aircraft in addition to the availability of all security and safety requirements which are in line with the recommendations of the US team.

The source said the Kuwait Airways will fl y directly to the US via T4 airport as of Jan 1, 2019, following the implementation of all required security requirements.
