WASHINGTON, May 11: The United States Department of the Treasury announced on Monday that it has imposed sanctions on 10 individuals and companies accused of supporting Iran’s military procurement networks for weapons and unmanned aerial vehicle components.

The action targets entities allegedly involved in supplying materials used for Shahed-series drones and ballistic missile systems, according to the Treasury Department.

Officials said the sanctioned networks operate across the Middle East, Asia, and Eastern Europe, including companies based in China, Hong Kong, Dubai, and Belarus.

The move is part of what US authorities described as an “Economic Fury” campaign aimed at disrupting Iran’s military supply chains.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Washington would continue to pursue foreign individuals and companies that provide military support to Iran.

“The US will continue targeting those providing Iran’s military with weapons for use against US forces,” Bessent said.
