US retaliatory strikes in Iran kill three, wound 10 in Abadan and Nain

KUWAIT CITY, Jul 13: US airstrikes on Monday killed at least three people and wounded 10 others in separate attacks in southwestern and central Iran, according to Iranian officials.

In Khuzestan province, strikes hit three locations in Abadan County at around 1:45 p.m., killing two people and injuring three, said Valiollah Hayati, the province's deputy governor for security and law enforcement. He said further details would be released following an initial assessment.

In a separate attack, a US strike on a military site in Nain County in Isfahan Province killed one person and wounded seven others. Akbar Salehi, Isfahan's deputy governor for security affairs, said those injured were treated as outpatients.
