US Reports 303 Troops Wounded in Iran War

CENTRAL COMMAND USA (AP), Mar 27: A total of 303 U.S. service members have been wounded since the start of the Iran war, with 273 already returned to duty, according to Tim Hawkins. He said 30 troops remain out of action, including 10 listed as seriously wounded, marking an increase of 13 injuries since the last update on March 24. The conflict has also resulted in the deaths of 13 U.S. service members.

Meanwhile, divisions over the war are becoming evident within conservative circles at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Younger attendees have expressed frustration with Donald Trump’s decision to launch strikes on Iran, arguing it contradicts his “America First” stance, while older conservatives have defended the move as a pragmatic response to security threats. CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp acknowledged the growing divide, saying the issue will be included in the conference’s annual straw poll, with results expected at the event’s conclusion.
