US Releases Third Batch of Declassified UFO Files

WASHINGTON, Jun 12: The United States on Friday released a third batch of previously classified records related to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), commonly known as UFOs, as part of an ongoing transparency initiative by the Trump administration.

In a statement, Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell announced the latest release, which includes historical records, investigative documents and videos showing unidentified objects reported by witnesses across the country.

According to media reports, the newly released material contains accounts of mysterious red and yellow light-emitting orbs moving through the sky. Some of the incidents were documented near sensitive government facilities, while the witnesses involved were considered credible by authorities.

Parnell said the Defense Department plans to continue publishing additional files on a rolling basis and is actively preparing the next release of UAP-related records.

The Pentagon also reported strong public interest in the declassification effort, noting that the official UAP information portal has received more than 1.7 billion visits worldwide since its launch on May 8.

The latest disclosure follows the release of the first batch of files on May 8 and a second set on May 22 as part of a broader push to make government records on unexplained aerial sightings more accessible to the public.

While the documents provide new details about reported encounters and government investigations, officials have not indicated that the released materials confirm extraterrestrial activity. Instead, the files offer insight into how authorities have monitored, assessed and documented unexplained aerial phenomena over the years.
