KUWAIT CITY, Nov 15: A ranking US official on Tuesday praised the State of Kuwait efforts in combating human trafficking and taking all necessary precautions against the phenomenon. The praise for Kuwait's fruitful efforts was made by the visiting Deputy Director of the U.S. Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons, Brian Marcus.
The US official, speaking after visiting the expatriate labor asylum center, underscored Kuwaiti authorities' efforts to prohibit human trade, and expressed gratitude to the personnel running the center.
