KUWAIT CITY, Jan 15: The US Embassy in Kuwait said it is closely monitoring developments related to ongoing regional tensions and reaffirmed its commitment to providing US citizens with timely information and updates as the situation evolves.

In a security alert, the embassy stated that staffing levels and operations at its mission in Kuwait remain unchanged at this time.

The embassy explained that, as a precautionary measure, staff members have been instructed to increase their level of vigilance and comply with directives temporarily restricting movement to several facilities where US forces are stationed. These include Camp Arifjan, Camp Buehring, Ali Al Salem Air Base, and Camp Patriot.

According to the statement, access to these facilities has been limited to essential personnel only.

The embassy also urged US citizens in Kuwait to exercise heightened caution, remain aware of their personal security, and closely follow official US government announcements, citing the complex and rapidly evolving security environment.
