All visa applicants are to undergo enhanced security reviews, says the US Embassy in Kuwait.
KUWAIT CITY, April 15: The U.S. Embassy in the country has stated that every visa applicant will undergo thorough security checks, including a review of law enforcement and counterterrorism databases.
In a statement posted on its official 'X' account (formerly Twitter), the embassy emphasized that "U.S. national security is a top priority."
The embassy further clarified that visas will not be issued until all security concerns have been fully addressed, highlighting that preventing travel for individuals who may pose a threat is crucial for safeguarding American citizens at home.
