TAMPA, Jul 23: The United States has completed its 12th consecutive night of military strikes against Iran, with US Central Command (CENTCOM) saying the latest operation targeted Tehran's maritime and military infrastructure as part of its ongoing campaign.
According to CENTCOM, the strikes hit Iranian maritime capabilities, missile and drone storage facilities, coastal surveillance sites, and air defense assets.
The US military said the operation was aimed at further degrading Iran's ability to threaten civilian shipping and commercial vessels operating in the region, particularly along key maritime routes.
The latest attacks come amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran, with the sustained campaign marking nearly two weeks of consecutive US military operations against Iranian targets.
