‘Update personal data to receive assistance money’

KUWAIT CITY, July 26: The Ministry of Social Affairs advised all social assistance beneficiaries to update their data in order to guarantee disbursement of the assistance in the coming period.

In a press statement, Assistant Undersecretary for Social Development in the ministry Hana Al- Hajri explained this comes within the framework of the ministry’s role in ensuring the continuous disbursement of social assistance to the beneficiaries.

This is in addition to the step taken at the beginning of the covid-19 crisis to extend the deadline for beneficiaries who did not complete the required documents or could not do so for six months due to the crisis and suspension of work in government agencies in line with the directive of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to reduce the burdens of citizens, reports Annahar daily. “We are currently in the process of moving from the second stage to the third stage of the gradual return to normal life plan, while the six-month period will end in September.
