‘Unstable’ police sergeant shoots himself

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 4: A few minutes into the New Year 2020, a Kuwaiti sergeant working for the Ministry of Interior at the Al-Ahmadi Security Directorate command of Mina Abdullah died in mysterious circumstances, reports Al-Anba daily.

The daily said the Public Prosecution after conducting the necessary investigations has decided to classify the case as suicide or accidental while the bloodied shotgun was found next to the corpse of victim in the room of the deceased in the morning.

However, the Ahmadi prosecutor has ordered further investigations into the incident to reach the full truth and the body has been referred to the Forensics medicine. According to a security source, the incident happened inside the home of the victim in Sabahiya and the victim’s relatives said he was suffering from psychological disorders that may have led him to end his life
