Unlicensed Food Oulet Busted in Ahmadi, 150kg of Products Destroyed

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 25: An inspection campaign in Ahmadi Governorate has uncovered several food safety violations, including the operation of an unlicensed food facility and the circulation of adulterated food products.

The campaign was carried out by the Inspection Department of the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition in Ahmadi Governorate, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior.

Inspectors also found violations related to technical and health requirements, as well as failures to comply with personal and general hygiene standards.

As part of the enforcement action, authorities destroyed 150 kilograms of various food products and took the necessary legal measures against those responsible for the violations.
